Designed with the end user in mind, the PP790SE has an ergonomic form factor that perfectly fits the hand and a large display for readability. When a key is pressed, the display’s bright LED backlight can be turned on with a simple software command. The backlight automatically turns off extending its life.

The tactile keys provide reassurance that the correct buttons are being pressed. Also, with its small footprint, the terminal can be mounted on a stand or easily handed to a customer.

No need to worry if the PP790SE is dropped. Tested to withstand 3 foot drops onto concrete floors, the terminal is extremely rugged and durable for all environments.

Advanced Security

PCI and EMV approved, the PP790SE meets the highest levels of security to ensure transactions are processed in a secure environment. PINs are protected using Triple DES, Master/Session or DUKPT. Software is secured using RSA, AES and SHA-1.

With its secure remote key management and software download, the PP790SE can be updated on location without sending it to a service center or having a technician touch the terminal. Central control and key management reduces the cost-of-ownership and provides more security than physically transporting terminals for major updates.
